As a Lead Installer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of quality and craftsmanship while leading installation teams on-site. - Lead and manage installation teams on exterior remodeling and new construction projects, ensuring timely and quality completion of all tasks.
- Oversee the installation of siding, windows, doors, decking, and other exterior components with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the project management team to review blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure projects are completed according to client expectations.
- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
- Maintain open communication with clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, materials, and equipment on job sites.
- Train and mentor junior installers, ensuring that safety protocols and installation standards are adhered to.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues, providing solutions to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Ensure the site is clean, organized, and secure at the end of each workday.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in exterior remodeling and/or new construction, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of siding, window, and door installation techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage and lead a team while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site efficiently.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, work in various weather conditions, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Licenses: Valid driver's license required; additional certifications in construction or installation preferred. Ability to pass a background check.
