- Lead and manage a team of technicians providing restoration and cleaning services to residential, commercial, and institutional clients.
- Coordinate daily tasks and projects, beginning at the corporate office in Staten Island, NY, and traveling to various job sites.
- Perform a variety of physical tasks, including wall washing, floor cleaning, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and specialty sanitizing and deodorizing services.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and professional equipment to ensure safety and quality of work.
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management, ensuring clarity and understanding of tasks.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to emergency restoration services after hours.
- Train and mentor team members, providing guidance on best practices and work processes.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Use company-supplied vehicles to travel to job sites, following safety and operational protocols.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Valid and insurable New York driver's license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading and supervising teams in cleaning or restoration services.
- Experience in fire or water damage restoration preferred.
- Ability to work independently and hold team members accountable for their work.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, stooping, bending, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call program, providing emergency services as needed.
- Ability to follow detailed work processes with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to navigate basic smartphone apps.
- Must demonstrate excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Skills and Certifications:
- Current IICRC certifications (Required).
- Strong desire for career growth and learning within the restoration industry.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- This role requires constant physical activity, including moving, lifting, and carrying heavy loads.
- Work conditions may vary depending on the job, with potential exposure to temperature fluctuations, odors, and varying levels of cleanliness.
- Ability to use ladders, step stools, and other equipment as needed, working at heights of up to 12 feet.
- Ability to work indoors primarily, but outdoor tasks may be required occasionally.
- Must be able to use and wear company-provided PPE, including gloves, goggles, and respirators.
