Position is required to be onsite in Hawley, MN.Summary The Lead Revit Technician will be responsible for collaborating with the project management and engineering team in the preparation of erection shop drawings, details, and production tickets. While overseeing the team, the Lead Revit Technician will implement processes to complete each project from start to finish for the fabrication and installation of precast concrete products. Essential Functions
- Oversee the Revit Technician team to ensure all aspects of the process are complete and accurate.
- Provide training for the team and others when needed.
- Coordinate with the project management team and engineers.
- Provide assistance with the preparation of drawings, details, and production tickets while ensuring modeling standards and department procedures are followed with consistency.
- Administrate document control process.
- Coordinate and manage Revit models and model data.
- Review all work for completeness and accuracy.
- Use checklists set up for quality control on each project and submit work according to deadlines.
- Observe professional ethics.
- Demonstrate proactive approach to learning of new digital design tools (Fusion 360/ Inventor).
- Supporting and auditing the project team and flagging non-compliances, developing root-cause analysis when department or production issues arise.
- Adhering to the latest industry standards.
- Provide support to production team as needed.
- Execute other duties as assigned.
Education RequirementsRequired: Associate degree or higher in drafting, architecture, engineering technology, or related field.Experience Requirements
- 5+ years in Revit modeling and drafting in an architectural or engineering environment.
- Knowledgeable in building design.
- Experience with EDGE^R Precast Software a plus.
- Knowledge of general building concepts.
- Self-motivated individual with exceptional communication skills with a high attention for detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a participative/ team-oriented environment.
