Job DescriptionWhat you will be doing
  • Receive and fully complete equipment requisitions request for all banquet events and ensure equipment is available in a timely manner.
  • Efficiently maintain logistics and good coordinationoff all equipment rentals and storage
  • Conduct bi-weekly equipment inventory, including regularly inspecting the condition of the equipment and placing orders for worn out or unusable equipment
  • Supervise the sanitation staff and provide daily to-do list. Inspect work for completion.
  • Create and implement a monthly cleaning schedule for all sanitation aides
  • Assist the Executive Chef with scheduling responsibilities by communicating and filling open shifts available.
  • Use established guidelines to correctively utilize and maintain dish machine. Wash glasses and dishes in standard dish rack.
  • Wash pots and pans only in the pot washer's area.
  • Ensure that all cleaning is performed that is required to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times; this includes sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping up any spills.
  • Empty full and heavy trash cans. Make sure they are sprayed and sanitized after each use. Place new trash bags in the container after each cleaning.
  • Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols, as well as Safety guidelines.
  • Perform other duties in other areas of Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed.

  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite
  • Must possess basic computational ability
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property

  • Regular attendance according to established guidelines
  • Ability to maintain excellent relationships with staff and maintain staff and guest confidentiality at all times

Physical Requirements:
  • Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods of
  • Bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning requirements
  • Exert physical effort in lifting, pushing and transporting one hundred (100) pounds
  • Work takes place in an environment that can be hot, cold, and/or humid
  • Repetitive motions, pulling, pushing, listening and hearing ability and visual ability
