Overview Location: Southwest NJ (Burlington, Cherry Hill, East Hampton, East Windsor, Florence) Schedule: Flexible - 15 hours/week Summer hours possible Pay Rate: $40-45 Catapult Learning is seeking a part-time, lead school nurse to work in Southwest, NJ (Burlington, Cherry Hill, East Hampton, East Windsor, Florence) non-public schools. Candidates must have an active NJ RN License. The ideal candidate will have experience with pediatric patients. This is a part time position. Compensation is $40-45/hr. Candidates must be willing to travel locally to various campuses. Responsibilities Review immunization records for school age children Assist with Medical/Dental Screening Prepare and file state reports as required by law Conduct audiometric, scoliosis, vision & Height and Weight screenings Provide other optional screenings as needed, ex. Blood Pressure, Lice Maintain student health records Administer medication and/or treatment when necessary for pupils to attend school Provide first aid and emergency care to all school age children Provide the following services as promulgated by individual State Law/Regulation: Notify parent/guardian if a screening defect is found upon screening and recommend appropriate follow-up Observe and recommend to principal, exclusion of students who show evidence of communicable diseases and/or whose immunization records are not received from parent/guardian after numerous attempts. Submit monthly report of health services and screenings performed to Catapult Learning Regional Director Other duties may be assigned Qualifications Valid New Jersey RN License, as required by contract. Local daily travel Pediatric experience is preferred but not required Basic Life Support CPR - Professional Rescuer or Healthcare Provider card, as required by contract. Catapult Learning employees are subject to state and local licensure and pre-employment screening. Must be proficient with virtual platforms, i.e. Zoom, MS Office, etc. Pay Rate USD $42.00 - USD $45.00 /Yr.
