Position Summary:
The Lead SDET is responsible for ensuring the product teams deliver high quality applications, systems, and data. Leads the quality and testing efforts to ensure completion of quality assurance deliverables, adherence to quality and product development processes and standards, and drives on time software releases. The Lead Software Development Engineer in Test will be a hands-on, individual contributor responsible for designing & developing our testing automation framework utilizing Selenium, Selenium Grid, C#, Azure DevOps and Docker.
Responsibilities:
* Builds, mentors, and leads quality assurance automation team, both functionally and technically, to deliver quality IT solutions.
* Oversees all test execution of the testing team, based on functional and non-functional user stories or requirements. In addition to overseeing the design and maintenance of test strategies and test cases, including test data.
* Collaborates with the IT teams on the development of best practices that provide continuous integration and delivery.
* Works with Product Owners and Development Leads to triage bugs and manage the bug backlog. Negotiates with team members to determine which bugs will be addressed and/or fixed as part of a sprint iteration.
* Works closely with PMO, Development, and Product Management teams to ensure release schedules through scope control, test design validation and pragmatic, results-oriented technical decisions.
Requirements:
* Must have 5+ years in both C# OOD and Selenium Automation Framework creation
* Strong command of C#, including advanced concepts such as interfaces, generics, and inheritance.
* Proficient in extending automation framework and enhancing automation coverage.
* Deep expertise in UI grid infrastructure for scalability e.g. in Selenium Grid/Selenoid.
* Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for orchestration and management in addition to hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for CI/CD pipelines and project management.
* Deep expertise in Selenium and Appium frameworks for web and mobile automation testing, respectively.
* Skilled in troubleshooting complex automation challenges across web and mobile platforms, including browser and device compatibility issues.
* Hands-on experience with Docker, including creating Docker images for test environments and adeptness in troubleshooting Docker-related issues preferred.
* Knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools such as JMeter or Gatling for assessing system scalability and reliability is nice to have.
* Experience in security testing practices and tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite for identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities preferred.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for scalable infrastructure provisioning and management preferred.
* Preferred experience with Node.js and JavaScript for scripting and extending automation capabilities.
* Proficiency in machine learning concepts and practical experience leveraging tools like Llama 3 for advanced testing scenarios and data analysis preferred.
* Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field, and a minimum of eight (8) + years' experience working in Quality Assurance/Testing.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay for this role is between $130,000 and $160,000. Your base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including your job-related knowledge/skills, qualifications, experience, and market location.
