Lead Service Coordinator
Youth Consultation Service (YCS) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Lead Service Coordinator to join our dedicated team! If you're passionate about helping families access critical early intervention services and want to make a real difference, this role is perfect for you.
About Us:
YCS is dedicated to providing life-changing services to infants, toddlers, and families in need of support. Our goal is to ensure every child has the tools and services needed for a brighter future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support a team of service coordinators in delivering high-quality, family-centered services.
- Provide supervision and help manage a small caseload of families, helping them access early intervention services for their infants and toddlers with disabilities.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor and coordinate each child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) to ensure timely, effective service delivery. This includes making referrals and scheduling appointments for children and family.
- Lead team meetings, provide 1:1 supervision, and offer guidance on challenging cases.
- Assist in onboarding and training new team members.
- Collaborate with families, service providers, and community partners.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Family Studies, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- One year of documented professional experience working with children and families in a counseling, supporting, or case management role (preferably with children from birth to five years of age).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of early intervention services, early childhood development, and family-centered practices.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with system partners.
- Proficiency in data management, reporting, and meeting regulatory compliance.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Arabic (preferred).
- Infant Mental Health Endorsement (IMH-E) or willingness to pursue (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel within Passaic County to meet with families and attend meetings.
