Lead Shipping Loader - Night Shift

Who You Are:

We are looking for an energetic Lead Warehouse Loader who is a self-starter and team player to be part of our team.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the loading of goods.
  • Build truck loading routes.
  • Encourages all members of the production team to stay on task and remain at their workstation.
  • Resolves problems using working knowledge and solutions that improve operations, and develops recommendations involving new techniques, technologies, or concepts.
  • Provides direction and example for interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Skills You Bring:

  • Prior Shipping Lead experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • The ability to lift 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (heat, cold, humidity)
  • Glass industry experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels
  • Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure
  • All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production
  • Flexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends)
  • One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility.
  • Forklift experience a plus
  • Overhead crane experience a plus
