Candidate should have a thorough understanding of stage mechanics as well as strong carpentry and rigging skills. Theatrical Automations experience is desirable. Candidate must be self-motivated, innovative and enjoy working in a fast-paced and creative environment. Theatrical carpentry/props experience required. Must be able to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds. Responsibilities include:creating and distributing the schedule for the part-time Carpentry team, performing preset duties, executing show cues as well as turnover & post show duties in a safe and professional manner, emergency repairs of scenery and props, assisting deck crew during changeover on multiple show days, work and maintenance calls for projects as needed. Due to show schedules, candidate must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. All employees are encouraged to attend full company meetings. This is a full-time hourly position with a pay rate of $26/hour and a competitive benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, Life Insurance and 401K.
