Job Description:
Remote Opportunity!Join us and lead the development of an innovative software focusing medical record summarization, and help us move the healthcare industry forward!Responsibilities:
  • Product Design and Development: Leading the technical design and implementation of our prototype through full development.
  • AI Integration: Integrate existing AI models for natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning to accurately extract and summarize key information from medical records.
  • File Handling: Implement robust mechanisms to handle various input formats, including PDF, Word files, and scanned handwritten notes.
  • OCR Implementation: Use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to digitize and process handwritten notes, ensuring high accuracy and reliability.
  • API & Library Integration: Integrate necessary libraries and APIs to enhance functionality, including third-party healthcare platforms and existing workflow systems.
  • Workflow Integration: Integration with existing healthcare workflow platforms, ensuring smooth data exchange and interoperability.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous testing protocols to ensure the software is robust, secure, and free of critical bugs.
  • Documentation: Create documentation for the codebase, APIs, and user guides to facilitate future development and user onboarding.
Requirements:Experience: Proven experience in software development, particularly in building for startups. Previous work in the healthcare or medical technology industry highly desirable.Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python and key cloud development frameworks (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with OCR technologies (e.g., Tesseract, Adobe OCR).
  • Familiarity with handling and processing PDF and Word documents.
  • Knowledge of integrating third-party APIs and libraries.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
  • Familiarity with medical coding standards (e.g., ICD-10, CPT).
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and best practices for handling sensitive medical information.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in UI/UX design to ensure a user-friendly interface and optimal user experience.
  • Prior experience with agile development methodologies.
