Position Summary...What you'll do... As a Lead Controls Specialist in the Building Performance and Controls department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of Walmart's buildings and systems. You will be responsible for leading teams, providing technical expertise, and implementing solutions to complex problems while maintaining a focus on customer and associate safety, and minimizing service costs.Main Responsibilities:* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize customer needs and business priorities.* Coordinate and execute work assignments to ensure timely completion of projects and initiatives.* Provide proactive solutions to complex problems using advanced programming methods and diagnostic techniques.* Model and promote adaptability to change and new challenges, and provide guidance and support to others in adapting to change.* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and support the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.Required Skills and Experience:* Advanced knowledge of building controls systems, including programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance for HVAC and Refrigeration Systems.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and respond to trends and patterns.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and mentor team members.* Ability to adapt to change and new challenges, and to provide guidance and support to others in adapting to change.* Proficiency in using policies, data, and resources to complete work assignments and priorities.* Experience with energy management and sustainability initiatives, and the ability to identify opportunities for energy reductions and cost savings.* Strong understanding of manufacturer recalls and the ability to identify and respond to recalls in a timely manner.* Proficiency in daylight harvesting and the ability to program and implement daylight harvesting systems.As a Lead Controls Specialist, you will be a critical member of the Building Performance and Controls team, and will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of Walmart's buildings and systems.
