Role and Responsibilities:The Lead Stocker will work with the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager to oversee daily commissary operations. A commissary is a grocery store located on a military installation that primarily serves members of the military, their families, and authorized personnel.
- Work with a team that primarily composed of individuals with disabilities
- Supervises commissary employees in various locations throughout the building
- Uses customer service skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members of the public
- Responsible for organizing, planning, directing, staffing, and controlling the operations of the facility
- Responsible for maintaining the goals, standards, and objectives of the facility as well as obtaining and maintaining the goals, standards, and objectives of the company
- Coordinates work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of the maintenance and care of the buildings and offices
- Trains, supervises, and evaluates assigned commissary staff
- Trains staff in proper chemical and equipment usage and maintenance
- Opens and closes locks and unlocks facilities as needed
- Keeps records of work completed
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Forklift Operator certification (Preferred).
- Minimum of (1) Years' supervisory experience
Physical Demands:

- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, gran and lift up to fifty (25) lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk the entire shift.
