The main purpose of this role is to provide engineering expertise for the delivery of Southwire's overall operational sustainability strategy. This role will be highly visible and will partner with members of Southwire's organization with project execution, engineering, maintenance, and process-related improvements or practices. The successful candidate will be expected to drive the initiatives via a high level of communication and collaboration in combination with technical aptitude and agility in the changing world of sustainability.

Other Preferred Skills, Licenses, & Certificates:Utilities Design and optimization including HVAC systems, chilled water systems, steam systems, compressed air systems, monitoring and control systems, pumping, wastewater treatment, & water treatment.
Knowledge in green building design, EMS/BMS, energy audit/management, ASHRAE codes, retro commissioning, power systems and water stewardship is a plus. LEED certification experience is a plus.
