Job Description:

Our professional services team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Systems Engineer to support the development, implementation, and technical management of a future Department of Justice agency program. The Lead will play a pivotal role in technical design, engineering and delivering a Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) compliant secure end-user device (EUD) solution, ensuring compliance withIntelligence Community security standards while driving innovative approaches to meet mission-critical objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design, engineering, and deployment of CSfC-compliant solutions, pre-production environments, and datacenter integration.
  • Design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable IT infrastructure solutions, including networking, storage, and compute environments, to support the FBI Program.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to define system requirements and infrastructure architecture.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of solutions at the designated Customer sites, including Clarksburg, WV, and Washington, DC, with optional support for Pocatello, ID.
  • Design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable IT infrastructure solutions, including networking, storage, and compute environments, to support the FBI Program.
  • Ensure infrastructure is optimized for high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the solution into existing enterprise infrastructure, including Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
  • Ensure compliance with NSA policies, NCDSMO accreditation, and CSfC Capability Package requirements, including Data-at-Rest (DAR) and Multi-Domain solutions.
  • Guide Agile development practices, including SAFe methodologies, to ensure efficient delivery and adherence to defined timelines.
  • Develop technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), configuration guides, and system design diagrams.
  • Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting, patching, and maintaining CSfC infrastructure, including over-the-air (OTA) updates and remote device management.
  • Support the preparation and submission of NSA and CSfC documentation, including registration forms, validation letters, and ATO artifacts.
  • Collaborate with program management and stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet operational, security, and compliance requirements.

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

  • This position anticipates a mix of on-site and remote work with regular hours, Monday-Friday.
