Job Title: Technical Lead

Location: Remote (100%) - Candidates must be local to the DMV(Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area

Employment Type: Fulltime - W2

Note: US Citizenship is contractually required for this role

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with proven experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) to join our team. This role will provide technical leadership for a large-scale modernization effort and driving the successful implementation of business process management (BPM) solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on development experience, expertise in DevSecOps practices, and a solid background in Agile methodologies. Candidates must be able to navigate complex case management systems and lead teams in an agile, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee a large team of technical professionals in the execution of a large-scale modernization project.
• Provide technical leadership in cloud environments, specifically AWS /Azure/GCP, ensuring best practices in architecture and deployment.
• Drive Business Process Management (BPM) implementations and oversee the integration of BPM tools within the project.
• Ensure that DevSecOps principles are embedded across all stages of development, including CI/CD pipelines, security, and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver case management solutions.
• Act as a technical point of contact for stakeholders and ensure project alignment with standards and guidelines.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to deliver incremental value, facilitating sprints and ensuring seamless project progression.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring skill development and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of federal projects.
• Proven experience leading teams of 40-50 resources in large-scale, cloud-based modernization projects.
• Cloud expertise in AWS and/or Azure, with hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
• Strong background in DevSecOps practices, including security automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on development experience in case management or related systems, with a strong understanding of modern development frameworks.
• Expertise in BPM implementations, including tool selection and integration with large enterprise systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work in an Agile environment, leading sprints, and driving collaboration among cross-functional teams.
• Local to the DMV area (Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia), though this is a 100% remote position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with large modernization efforts for federal agencies.
• Experience with cloud migration and legacy system modernization.
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, DevSecOps, or Agile methodologies.
