About the Role:As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young learners. You will be leading a team of teachers and assistants to create a positive and engaging learning experience for toddlers aged 18 months to 3 years old. Your main goal is to ensure that each child receives the attention and care they need to develop their cognitive, social, and emotional skills.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center or comparable settingCPL III or Child Development Associate Certificate upon hireAbility to pass BCI/FBI and ODJFS Background CheckExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with other staff members and parentsPreferred Qualifications:Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field with 1+ years experience Current CPR and First Aid certificationBilingual in English and SpanishResponsibilities:Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and developmentSupervise and mentor assistant teachers and aidesCommunicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their child's progressMaintain a clean and organized classroom environmentEnsure compliance with all state and federal regulations and licensing requirementsSkills:As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you will utilize your strong communication and organizational skills to create a positive and engaging learning environment for our young learners. You will also use your knowledge of child development and early childhood education best practices to develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities. Additionally, your leadership and supervisory skills will be utilized to mentor and guide assistant teachers and aides.
