We offer a warm, caring work environment with excellent work-life balance.Position: Lead Urgent Care ProviderJob Description: The Lead Provider, Urgent Care is accountable for the delivery of consistent high quality patient care and supporting the Advanced Practice staff scope of practice (Nurse Practitioner's/Physician Assistants), and development of the APP staff. Drawing on a broad understanding of clinical practices and policies, the Lead Provider will continually assess system and clinical issues, scope of practice guidelines, and APP practice protocols.This role in collaboration with the Urgent Care Physician Director involves but is not limited to the coordination of orientation, staff educational development, establishing protocols, systems development, staffing and scheduling, APP hiring, and staff evaluations.Our providers see an average volume of 25-35 patients per 12-hour shift, and document their encounters in EPIC (our electronic medical record). We have lab draws and x-ray services available at all of our Urgent Care locations and a strong connection with our system's local emergency room.Qualifications and Experience:Physician CandidatesBoard certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineValid Massachusetts Medical License5 years of clinical practiceNurse Practitioner CandidatesGraduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner ProgramValid Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner License, FNP preferred5 years of clinical practice at the advanced practice provider levelPhysician Assistant CandidatesGraduate of Accredited Physician Assistant programValid Massachusetts Physician Assistant License and NCCPA5 years of clinical practice at the advanced practice provider levelPreferred experience (All candidates)2 years of proven management or supervisory experience in a medical setting strongly preferredLocation: Milford Regional Urgent Care Job Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week | Part time schedules will be considered for the ideal candidate Benefits:Health, Dental, VisionRetirement SavingsGenerous paid time offCME AllowanceTuition reimbursementEmployer paid life insurance
