Job description
SUMMARY
Coordinates activities of warehouse workers by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Audits products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of equipment.
Assists with interpreting specifications, assigning job orders, and other duties to workers as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
Adjusts work procedures to meet production and shipping schedules.
Implements new procedures to improve warehouse methods, equipment performance, and quality of product while continuously striving for improvement in all materials processes.
Implements changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
Verifies the daily gauge mastering sheets and forklift checks are being performed.
Assists workers in solving work problems.
Assists in implementing plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
Maintains time and warehouse receiving/shipping records.
Completes requisitions and audits materials.
Performs activities of workers supervised, including forklift operation.
Serves as Fire Warden in case of evacuation of area.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
Responsible for adherence to the policies, procedures and instructions of the TS 16949, MMOG/LE and ISO 14001 systems.
Responsible for maintaining a Quality work environment and including good housekeeping
(i.e. 5S).
Responsible for development and adherence to the policies, procedures and instructions of the Quality, Materials and Safety & Environmental systems.
Regular and reliable attendance.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists all employees in the warehouse.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; two (2) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literate. Will need to become proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and time keeping software.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
