Job Summary
This position is responsible for leading the loading department, acting as a point of contact for scheduling and ensuring the department is adhering to safety standards and following daily work orders in a timely, safe and productive manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:?Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Conducts daily huddles with department regarding schedule and maintenance concerns.
* Confers with Manager, Shipping & Receiving on scheduling concerns. Communicates maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Associate.
* Operates a propane sit-down forklift.
* Sort shipments for destination and group merchandise to be included with or fulfilled in an order.
* Loading of finished materials for transport and unloading of raw materials.
* Moving of product to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
* Take product off the production line and store in designated location.
* Transport raw materials to production workstations.
* Inspect forklift to determine the need for repairs and to guarantee safety.
* Verify piece counts on each pallet and compare to label.
* Material handling of all products.
* Follow manufacturing work orders.

Working Conditions:
* Fast paced manufacturing environment, loading dock, and driveways. Will be working in all weather conditions.
* Hours Worked: 40 hours per week typically 1st Shift.
* Days/Week: Monday - Friday
