We're looking for a Lead, Workday Integration Engineer to join the People Team at Snap Inc!

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand complex and ambiguous business requirements, translating them into technology solutions

  • Perform solution assessments across Workday integration technologies, which may include technology interactions (i.e. Prism + Studio; Extend + Orchestrations; etc)

  • Advise on Workday API capabilities/limitations and supported authentication methods

  • Design and build complex, scalable integrations using the suite of Workday Integration technologies (Reports-as-a-Service, EIB, Document Transformation, Connectors, Workday Studio, Workday Web Services API, and Workday REST API) across Snap's Workday modules

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain custom applications using Workday Extend platform and related technologies such as Java, XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, Javascript, Python, etc

  • Thoroughly test integrations through unit testing and UAT, creating/executing appropriate test scripts, coordinating testing resources, and documenting edge cases

  • Analyze the current integration landscape to identify and address technical debt as it relates to functionality, performance, error handling, and scalability

  • Design and implement robust error-handling mechanisms to ensure appropriate logging and alerting

  • Debug and troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, regression test, and provide resolutions

  • Apply business process understanding and critical thinking skills to find creative ways to integrate and automate processes that drive operational efficiency through custom Boomerang integrations and Workday Cloud extensions

  • Partner with HRIS/Workday configurations team to thoroughly evaluate, communicate, and coordinate the technical impacts of associated configuration decisions

  • Participate in full life-cycle HRMS system implementations where responsibilities include project management, architecting, development, and quality assurance

  • Contribute to data transformation, conversion, and purge efforts

  • Evaluate change requests and communicate their impacts to project timeline and budget

  • Design and deliver end-user technical training and maintain comprehensive design specifications

  • Strong proficiency in Workday Reporting, Integration, Business Process and Security Frameworks

  • Impeccable attention to detail

  • Ability to creatively and quickly adapt to various situations

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment

  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects and collaborate effectively with team members at all levels

  • Ability to manage contending priorities successfully

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Experience in working with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 5+ years of demonstrated Workday integration development experience using Workday's integration tools (i.e., Reports-as-a-Service, Enterprise Interface Builder, Document Transformation, Connectors, Workday Studio, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years extensive experience working with the following Workday modules - Core HCM, Comp, Recruiting, Benefits, US Payroll, Absence Management & Time Tracking

  • 2+ years experience in Workday Extend development

  • Workday Pro certifications in Integration Administration/WD Studio

  • Strong experience using XSLT to transform XML data from Workday reports and WS responses

  • Strong experience using industry-standard web services technology, which encompass WSDL, SOAP, REST, and the WS-* standards

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) ( :

The base salary range for this position is $152,000-$228,000 annually.

Zone B ( :

The base salary range for this position is $144,000-$217,000 annually.

Zone C ( :

The base salary range for this position is $129,000-$194,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
