About the Job:

A problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. That's why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you'll provide capacity planning analysis and insights to executives, as well as lead a team of data center planning experts, shaping Google's global infrastructure strategy. You will also oversee the production of key reports and drive the long-term idea for Google's data center development.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of data center capacity planners, fostering a culture of excellence and driving continuous improvement in planning processes.
  • Develop and deliver impactful presentations to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making regarding Google's data center investments.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of planning processes, enabling the team to efficiently translate data into strategies for data center capacity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment on data center capacity plans and drive consensus on strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze and interpret data modeling results, extracting key insights and communicating findings to inform capacity planning decisions.
