Job Description:
Job OverviewResponsible for a specific work cell which includes assembly, wiring, and testing of products. Organizes and monitors the work flow within the work cell. Ensures that labor and quality standards are met. Ensures compliance with IS0 9001 Quality Management System. Prepares and maintains all work cell related documentation and reporting. Responsible for work cell inventory and related transactions. Assists and coordinates work of other employees as required.A Day In The Life
  • Schedule, set up, coordinate and oversee work within the department.
  • Review and facilitate the work tasks to be completed per the production planning schedule to meet the internal and/or external customers' requirements.
  • Complete work in the allowed time and notify supervisor of deviation from time standard while work is in progress.
  • Sets up and operates various manufacturing related machines and test equipment (presses, crimpers, engravers, signal generators, power sources, etc.)
  • Maintains physical work cell inventory.
  • Collaborate regarding part availability with the Materials Department to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Transacts job-related paperwork to include proper recording of labor and inventory.
  • Ensures compliance with IS0 9001 Quality Management System.
  • Assures that proper test equipment and tooling are being used at all times and are kept in good and safe operating order.
  • Maintains clean and safe working conditions at all times.
  • Assists other assemblers as required.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Coordinates and maintains cross training as documented within product's skills matrix.
  • May assemble and/or wire complex equipment following drawings or models.

  • Minimum of 3 years electro-mechanical assembly experience.
  • Ability to read and follow schematics, drawings and other written work instructions.
  • Must be PC literate and have excellent communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
