Revology Cars is hiring a Lean Manufacturing Engineer at the Orlando, Florida facility where we restore 1965-1968 Ford® Mustang® and Shelby® GT Mustang automobiles. ABOUT THE JOB:
- This role will focus on optimizing manufacturing processes, driving efficiency improvements, and implementing Lean principles to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Lean methodologies, process engineering, and continuous improvement, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in achieving operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement using Lean tools and methodologies.
- Lean Implementation: Develop and execute Lean initiatives, such as value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen events, SMED, and standardized work.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance workflow efficiency.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor process performance and identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with production, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and integration of Lean principles across all operations.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees at all levels about Lean tools and practices.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Lean initiatives and report progress to leadership.
- Utilize root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams) to address operational challenges.
- Ensure the long-term sustainability of Lean practices by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 plus years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar role, with a focus on Lean methodologies.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
- Proficiency in process mapping and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, or similar software).
- Project management experience, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing software is desirable.
PAY AND BENEFITS
- $75,000-$91,400K base salary, depending on experience.
