We are looking for a Learning and Development Coordinator (LDC) to join our ED team in Freeport, TX.

This position ensures unit procedures / programs are current and production unit personnel are properly trained so they can carry out
their assigned tasks properly and safely.
**As a Learning and Development Coordinator (LDC), you create chemistry by...**
Developing and providing unit-specific training, including refresher training, special needs training, etc.
Coordinating with capital project and MOC teams to ensure training requirements are covered and met.
Conducting and/or coordinating hands-on training for unit-specific material.
Auditing and ensuring proper training documentation is maintained for the unit.
Developing program/curriculum for unit-specific training.
Maintaining and update all unit training materials (paper, electronic, and other media).
Bringing consistency and continuous improvement to operator qualification training.
Ensuring compliance with computer-based training requirements for all DOT and DST personnel.
Acting as the units interface for Quality /ISO Process.
Being the final approver for qualification testing and learning verification (shift work)
**If you have...**
Associate's Degree and minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience in a plant environment; or High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum 7 years of manufacturing experience in a plant environment
Minimum 4 years of experience with MS Office applications
Ability to develop and deliver training programs.
Coordination skills to work with different teams and departments.
Attention to detail for auditing and maintaining training documentation.
**Preferred qualifications:**
Minimum 2 years experience with operating procedures and equipment used in chemical manufacturing operations
Minimum 2 years experience with controls systems and associated training requirements
Hands-on training coordination and facilitation skills.
Curriculum development skills for unit-specific training.
Proficiency in maintaining and updating training materials in various formats.
Ability to ensure consistency and continuous improvement in operator qualification training.
Understanding and ability to ensure compliance with computer-based training requirements.
