Consultant, LMS Administrator, Pharmaceuticals
Summary
The Learning Management Systems (LMS) Administrator is responsible for providing technical leadership and support for the learning management system. This role involves the design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of content, assets, and resources used for instructional functions. The LMS Administrator collaborates with the business to support the organization's learning needs, identifies opportunities for process and quality improvements, and ensures the security and integrity of systems/networks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. LMS Support:
- Provide technical leadership in the support of the learning management system (LMS).
- Responsible for the support, design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of content, assets, and other resources used for instructional functions for Clinical Management CRO personnel
- Interface with the business to support the learning needs of the organization
- Works on assignments dealing with the routine and daily operation, use, and configuration of the LMS
- Identifies and communicates opportunities for process and quality improvements, providing feedback on usage, defects, and suggested enhancements
- Acquires and maintains knowledge of current technology as it applies to LMS software and systems
- Maintains procedures and policies to ensure the security and integrity of systems/networks
- Writes and maintains technical procedures and policy documentation
- Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing data and recommending solutions to utilize the LMS to deliver, track training and measure performance to meet organizational objectives
- Creates and updates resources to train and support learners on how to use the technology for online and professional development
2. User Management:
- Create and manage user logins and permissions.
- Creates and manages user structures including the creation of user groups and learning cohorts.
- Manage course enrollment and progress tracking.
3. Course Management:
- Publish and archive online or blended learning solutions.
- Assign training curricula and manage course resources.
- Collaborate with departments to manage the course asset library.
- Populate course information and assign learners.
- Develop and update standardized tools and reporting for ongoing access to learning information.
- Create and manage the overall course structure and set up course programs.
- Track course revisions and history.
- Build online assessments and evaluations in the LMS for courses.
4. Troubleshooting:
- Provide troubleshooting assistance for user login and course access issues.
- Serve as a point of escalation for support issues, including interaction with LMS vendor and other support services.
5. Metrics/KPI Reporting
- Responsible for managing and updating existing training metrics dashboard in PowerBI
- Intermediate knowledge of PowerBI.
- Provide troubleshooting support for technical or data-related issues arising in PowerBi dashboard.
- Responsible for creating and managing ad-hoc reports in the LMS to extract source data for the dashboard.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as an LMS administrator or in a similar position
- Coursework and/or certifications relating to learning management system administration preferred.
Term & Start
- 12-month contract, open to 12+ month extension
