Pacific Clinics serves children, transitional age youth, families, adults, and older adults. We offer a full range of mental and behavioral health services, foster care and social services, housing, continuing adult education and early childhood education programs to Medi-Cal eligible individuals and families throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, Fresno, Kings, Los Angeles, Madera, Orange, Placer, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Solano, Stanislaus, Stockton, Tulare and Ventura Counties.

What We Offer

  • The initial compensation for this position ranges from $77,051.52 to $94,763.65 annually.
  • We also offer 8% license differential (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC or Licensed Psychologist)!
  • Benefits start on day 1!
  • Salary is dependent on commensurate experience above the minimum qualifications for the role.

JOB SUMMARY

Scheduled Hours per Day: Mon-Friday, 9am to 5pm

Works within the vision, mission and philosophy of the agency. Assesses learning needs, designs, develops, and presents learning activities. Evaluates results of training for continuous improvement of training functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Works closely with regional and agency leadership to assess business, functional, technical, clinical, and soft skills learning and development needs. Makes recommendations regarding how to meet the needs.
  • Uses professional assessment tools including questionnaires, interviews, multi-rater feedback, focus groups, and job analysis to gather data, and presents to management for action planning.
  • Designs, develops, and/or selects instructor-led and e-learning units.
  • Presents a wide range of training classes, and may also facilitate learning outside the structure of a class, such as on-the-job learning activities, team building, strategic planning, or conflict resolution.
  • Actively promotes and communicates with senior leadership about the value of training, and the business case for employee and management development as part of performance. Encourages robust management/leadership practices, and models the values of same.
  • Analyzes data within the Learning Management System, and assures data integrity for learning-related business processes, including managing data to demonstrate contract compliance and regional productivity.
  • Performs other related responsibilities, as assigned, to support specific department/business needs.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    • BA degree or equivalent experience in relevant field is required. Employees providing clinical training are required to be licensed in the State of California as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
    • Two years' training experience – both in developing materials, and conducting/presenting training sessions.
    • Possess strong customer service orientation.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience designing and developing e-learning.
    • Learning Systems/Leadership certification such as DDI, Achieve Global, Tom Peters, MBTI, etc.

    HIGHLY DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bilingual or multilingual.
    • Diverse experience to include private sector, Nonprofit, and social services.
    • Advanced degree.
