A Leasing Agent is responsible for assisting property owners or management companies in renting out residential, commercial, or industrial properties. The role focuses on attracting and retaining tenants while providing excellent customer service. This is a fast pace office enviroment. - Tenant Acquisition:
- Show available properties to prospective tenants.
- Answer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person about property features, rental prices, and lease terms.
- Market available units through online listings, social media, flyers, and other advertising platforms.
- Lease Management:
- Facilitate lease applications, processing tenant background checks, credit screenings, and references.
- Prepare and execute lease agreements in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines.
- Ensure timely lease renewals and address tenant concerns regarding their lease agreements.
- Property Tours and Inspections:
- Conduct property tours for potential tenants, highlighting the property's features and benefits.
- Perform regular property inspections to ensure maintenance and cleanliness standards are met.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to resolve any repair or upkeep issues promptly.
- Customer Service:
- Respond to current and prospective tenant inquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants to encourage lease renewals and positive feedback.
