BECO Asset Management is a Chesapeake-based property management company with nearly 2,000 apartment units at seven properties, almost 200,000 existing square feet of commercial space, including office, medical, retail and industrial properties with another 235,000 square feet under construction. We have an opening for a Leasing Agent position for our Hampton, Virginia apartment community.

Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions: - Tour prospects, market units, and lease apartments as necessary - must be strong salesperson! Flexible schedule as needed - this will include some weekend work
- Work with maintenance staff and meet with vendors
- Responsible for GREAT resident relations and customer service
- Walking and inspecting property on a regular basiscurb appeal is vital
- Assisting the Community Manager with duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience: - Leasing experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.
- Work with property management software is preferredwe use Yardi
- Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize and take initiative
- Demonstrated close attention to detail while multi-tasking
- Professional, businesslike demeanor
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
Must pass background check, have GREAT references and a stable work history.
