Job Description:

Position: Leasing Associate | Chicago, IL (Downtown) | On-Site

The Leasing Associate will report directly to the Leadership team and play a critical role in ensuring

the success of the properties by focusing on tenant negotiations, lease administration, market

research, occupancy strategies, and supporting overall portfolio performance and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Supports the Leasing team in creating and implementing strategic leasing plans to identify,

qualify, and contact potential prospects.

• Coordinates with third-party brokers responsible for canvassing and cold calling to bring

qualified new tenants to the shopping center.

• Assists in reviewing and negotiating letters of intent (LOIs) and lease agreements as part of

the leasing process.

• Collaborates with internal teams, including asset management, property management,

construction, and legal, to support the negotiation and execution of leasing documents

such as LOIs, Exclusive/Restriction Use reviews, and new leases.

• Supports tenant retention efforts by assisting in lease renewal negotiations.

• Gathers data and prepares financial and strategic analyses via Proformas of transactions to

ensure alignment with the objectives set by clients or partners.

• Prepares leasing activity reports and participates in bi-weekly leasing meetings with the

leasing department, as well as monthly updates for partners/clients.

• Represents the company at local, regional, and national conferences and industry events to

build relationships and promote leasing opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university (Business Major preferred)

• 1+ years of Leasing Experience (Required)

• Exposure or Knowledge of Co-Star, LoopNet and Excel

• Ability to multi-task and handle a consistent volume of deal flow.

• Experience in cold calling and passion for sales.

• Valid state driver's license and ability to travel within the Chicago market as required.
