This role involves leasing apartments, delivering exceptional customer service to residents and applicants, and ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations.Key Responsibilities:Leasing & Marketing:
- Respond promptly to tenant inquiries and conduct property tours.
- Process applications, including credit and background checks, and finalize lease agreements.
- Assist with marketing strategies and outreach to attract prospective tenants, including revising affirmative marketing plans and attending community events.
Customer Service:
- Provide outstanding support to residents, addressing inquiries and fostering positive relationships.
Compliance & Eligibility:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local affordable housing regulations.
- Verify applicant eligibility, including income, preferences, and occupancy standards.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate records, perform data entry, and prepare leasing reports.
- Assist with financial paperwork and office organization.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
- Experience in affordable housing, property management, leasing, or customer service is advantageous.
- Familiarity with affordable housing programs, tax credit regulations, and Yardi software is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual in Spanish (read, speak, write) preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
