The Leasing Professional will be responsible for creating marketing collateral, including but not limited to flyers, brochures, and content, in an effort to generate qualified traffic for the community. The Leasing Professional is responsible for the entire rental experience by serving as the initial contact for all prospective residents and will be responsible for completing the tour, application, and move-in process for the community. Section 8 compliance experience preferred.Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Inspecting property (inside and out) daily for overall curb appeal and rectifying any problem areas.
- Greeting all people who visit the community.
- Maintaining positive relations with residents.
- Administrative responsibilities.
- Adhering to policies and procedures as set forth.
- Preparing and processing rental applications, lease packets, renewals, and any related forms.
- Touring prospects through model apartments or market ready units.
- Answering all phone calls and giving out rental information as dictated by policy and procedure.
- Accurate and timely data entry to reflect traffic and source of traffic.
- Handling all details of move ins, move outs, inspections, and any related forms.
- Shopping competition through phone calls and visits on a regular basis.
- Preparing any required reports such as Monthly Service Request, Weekly Marketing Reports, Tenant Move-Out and Move In List in a timely manner.
- Initiating and distributing service requests for general maintenance. Following up weekly on any open requests.Reporting accidents and emergency situations as policy and procedure dictate and fill out necessary accident report forms.
- Preparing lease renewals, coordinating all move-in dates and all changes regarding move-outs.
- Performing pre-inspections of market ready vacant and model apartments, assisting the coordination of the paint schedule and inspect all contractor work.
- Creating and preparing monthly newsletter.
- Preparing and submitting all advertising and marketing requests in a timely manner to Marketing Manager.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of leasing, sales, or customer service experience or a combination of both
- Excellent organization, customer service, and time management skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively
- Strong administrative skills
- Ability to prioritize

- Ability to work independently
- Computer competency
