Job Description:

UL Solutions is seeking a qualified Leave Administration Specialist to join our dynamic team. We strive to ensure our employees feel heard and given the support they need during a leave of absence which is an important moment in their career.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong initiative as well as the ability to think critically through ambiguous situations and prioritize while maintain a high-level of customer support and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment. The position will report to the Global Leave of Absence Manager and will administer a variety of leave requests, particularly those arising under the Family and Medical leave Act (FMLA), state and local leave laws USERRA, and short-term disability leaves.

+ Serves as the primary contact with employees and People Leaders for providing support and subject matter expertise. Provides information, interpretation, guidance and consultation. Ensures that employees and People Leaders are aware of their responsibilities and process during the leave process.

+ Performs end-to-end leave case management. Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the leaves of absence are administered and coordinated with the proper handoffs, tracked, measured and monitored for continuous improvement and compliance.

+ Identifies and drives internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions including reducing the manual efforts through automation.

+ Manages highly complex leave cases from all levels within the organization

+ Manages all administrative aspects of leave claims to include data is recorded and properly tracked in the Human Capital Management system.

+ Bachelor's in business, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Minimum of two years' experience in human resources/benefits and leave administration. Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and state paid leave programs.

+ Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills.

+ Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed environment and ability to communicate across all levels of employees.

+ Prior experience utilizing ServiceNow HR Service Delivery platform a plus.

+ Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills.

+ Excel experience including pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, and charts/graphs
