Valid New Jersey Teacher of Pre-K-3 Certificate

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with families of students.

Knowledge of state regulations as regarding preschool outlined New Jersey Administrative Code

Proven ability to prepare and delivers lessons for students demonstrate best practices for preschool students

Ability to develop strong relationships with families in order to provide service coordination, support, and training to assist families in meeting the needs of their children, and enhancing parents' role as the primary influence on their child's education and development

Essential Functions:

Become familiar with established curricula.

Meet, take attendance and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.

Develop and implement daily or weekly lesson plans and instructional materials in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of the students.

Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.

Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom
