Job Description
Purpose: Responsible for all sales activities and sales associate job duties, including greeting customers, answering questions, offering assistance, suggesting items, lending opinions, and providing product information. Must also be able to deal with customers courteously and professionally and maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm, reflecting the Legacy's commitment to our customers.Responsibilities
- Performs general cashiering responsibilities accurately and efficiently
- Greets and assists customers as they enter, peruse, and exit the store
- Monitors inventory, stocks shelves, and cleans where needed
- Assists with receiving, pricing, and stocking incoming merchandise
- Assists with stocking coolers, general cleaning responsibilities, and other duties as assigned
- Assists with merchandising products and creating displays and signs
- Assists with answering the phones and taking special orders
- Provides additional assistance at Flagler's Legacy during special events/busy times, including the first week of classes, admitted student's day, prospective student day, and graduation.
- Open and close shop without assistance.
Qualifications
- Current Flagler College student
- Ability to work as part of a team and initiative independent of direct supervision
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
- Highly creative and detail-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Must be comfortable working with Apple technology
- Must be able to access a multi-story building with a staircase
- Must be able to lift and maneuver boxes up to 40lbs
- Must be able to stand for up to 5 hours
