We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team in Harbor East, Baltimore. The ideal candidate will support attorneys and legal staff with a wide range of administrative and organizational tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our office. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism. Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and other legal staff.
- Prepare, review, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, client appointments, and court appearances.
- Maintain case files, organize documents, and manage records in both electronic and physical formats.
- Handle incoming calls and correspondence, responding to client inquiries and directing messages as needed.
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and expense tracking for legal services.
- Conduct basic legal research and gather information for cases.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and manage attorneys' calendars.
- Maintain office supplies and ensure the office is organized and stocked.
- Handle other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a legal or law firm environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and legal case management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
