Job Description:

Our client, a prestigious law firm, is looking to add a Legal Administrative Assistant to their team. In this role you will partner with other assistants to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations, answer phones, take live dictation, manage, and edit documents, maintain personal and business calendars, and coordinate travel. The right candidate for this role is a team player with experience supporting a legal team, has strong attention to detail and is flexible to adapt to how the office is organized and run for the Founding Partner. You can think critically and resolve problems and have a positive attitude.

  • This is an onsite position in Armonk, NY working from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm requires1 weekend per month and covers three holidays per year. The salary for this role is $ 85,000 - $ 95,000 per year.
Responsibilities:
  • Create, proof, and edit confidential legal and personal documents.
  • Transcribe live phone dictation.
  • Schedule and create itineraries for complex travel plans including ground transportation, airline tickets, dining, and hotel reservations.
  • Manage emails ensuring a timely response while following up on important items for Founding Partner.
  • Calendar management-providing back up to the Executive Assistant working in our NYC office.
  • Answer telephones, input daily diaries.
  • Build and cultivate professional relationships through collaboration and communication with internal and external clients.
  • Partner with others to effectively meet deadlines managing timelines and executing simultaneous deliverables.
  • Assist with other administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience providing support within the legal industry.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable and proactive.
  • Ability to collaborate with other assistants to meet goals.
