Ultimate staffing is hiring a legal Administrator for a midsized law firm in the Hartford area. We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary/Administrative Assistant to join our team. We offer a supportive work environment with sophisticated legal work and a strong focus on client service. A Background in either real estate or litigation is a must.

What will you be doing?
Scan, save, and file documents internally and externally on client portals
Organize and link documents into PDF files for closing binders
Draft and review legal correspondence and documents
Proofread legal documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors
Coordinate court filings, including E-filings
Prepare documents for execution and delivery
Manage attorney calendars and scheduling
Professionally handle phone calls
Perform additional administrative tasks as needed
What qualification do you need to have?
3+ years of executive administrative experience, ideally in the legal field
Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation, especially in litigation or real estate
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
Expertise in creating and editing PDF files
High attention to detail and strong grammar/spelling skills
Ability to collaborate with attorneys and support staff
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Must be able to work in the office on a full-time schedule
