About the Company: Ansbacher Law, a top-rated and rapidly growing Florida law firm, seeks a full-time on-site legal assistant for our Orlando area (Lake Mary) office.

About the Role:

Although job duties may vary, the primary focus will be assisting our attorneys with the firm's community association (i.e., condo & hoa) clients. Responsibilities include assisting our team with the enforcement of homeowner payment obligations to our association clients, calculation of amounts due, preparation of demand documents, providing payoff information to homeowners, purchasers, and lenders, client communication, drafting legal documents under the supervision of attorneys, and maintaining client records. Must have a positive, friendly, and energetic personality, a strong work ethic, an assertive disposition, and a professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of legal documents under attorney supervision.
  • Communication with homeowners, home buyers, title companies, and clients.
  • Calculation of amounts due.
  • Calendaring deadlines and tasks in case management software.
  • Communication with community association managers and accounting staff to obtain the required documentation needed to prosecute claims.
  • Drafting documents.
  • Document review.
  • Case file management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • In-person work at our Orlando area (Lake Mary) office.
  • Office experience: 2 years
  • Microsoft Office: 2 years

Preferred Skills:

  • AA or BA college degree.
  • Law office experience.
