Kelley Kronenberg's New York office is hiring! We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our PIP team! This department is fast-paced, technology savvy, and team-oriented. Salary: $50,000 - $70,000
Essential Functions:
* Preparation of pleadings including, but not limited to, motions, subpoenas, notices, hearings, and requests for production
* Coordination/scheduling of meetings, hearings, appointments, and depositions
* Managing deadlines, preparing attorneys for appointments
* Drafting and composing typing routine correspondence, reading and routing of incoming mail, taking calls from clients, attorneys, adjusters, J.A.'s, opposing counsel, etc.
* Excellent secretarial and clerical skills (telephone & computer) required.
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of related experience and/or training in insurance defense litigation; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* MS Office Suite Knowledge a must
* Aderant Total Office (ATO) knowledge a plus
