Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Review & Risk Mitigation: Perform initial assessments of contracts from customers, vendors, and contractors to identify risks and propose solutions.
  • Legislative Research & Compliance: Stay on top of relevant regulations and legislation that may impact the companys operations, providing updates and analysis to leadership.
  • Executive Support: Provide high-level administrative assistance to the President/CEO and General Counsel, managing legal documents, contracts, and compliance issues.
  • Board Governance: Serve as a liaison between the Board of Directors and CEO, manage communications, and take detailed minutes during meetings.
  • Federal Contracts: Review federal solicitations to ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and assist with vendor and supplier compliance for RFQs.

What Were Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a paralegal or legal support role.
  • Education: Associates degree or higher in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field. Certification from an accredited paralegal program is a plus!
  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, legal research databases, excellent organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and being a New York State Notary Public.
