With over 40 years in the business, this tight-knit team of employees are seeking an Legal Office Manager to support their continued success. The Legal Office Manager will play a critical role in fostering a cohesive and productive workplace. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, you'll oversee human resources functions, manage office operations, and ensure the firm maintains its professional image. Our client is offering a salary of $65-85k depending on relevant experience. They also offer a competitive package, including 15 PTO days, 11 holidays, and 98% employee health insurance coverage. Legal Office Manager Responsibilities:
- Human Resources Management:
- Develop and enforce HR policies, orientation programs, and employee relations initiatives.
- Manage benefits administration, including annual meetings with providers.
- Track FMLA and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee hiring and termination processes, including onboarding and exit procedures.
- Office Operations:
- Monitor and regulate staff workload, manage time-off requests, and schedule temporary staff as needed.
- Organize and execute firm events, including team recognition, holiday gatherings, and professional anniversaries.
- Ensure the office environment aligns with the firm's professional standards.
- Administrative Duties:
- Coordinate evaluations, training sessions, and team meetings.
- Update and distribute internal contact directories and emergency listings.
- Serve as a backup to the network administrator and assist with confidential documentation.
Legal Office Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.)
- 5+ years of experience in a legal environment.
- 3+ years in law firm management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of adapting to new software systems.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and maintain professionalism under pressure.
