Legal Recruitment CoordinatorNew York, NY, USNov 26, 2024Dentons US LLP is currently recruiting for a Legal Recruitment Coordinator This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative team, help support the firm's US recruiting strategy and gain a range of hiring experience. The role will provide general administrative assistance and support to the Legal Recruiting Department in all aspects of lateral attorney and student recruitment, and summer programs. This is a hybrid position.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate interview schedules for lateral attorney candidates, including working with attorneys to gain availability, following up and compiling feedback, and checking in with candidates to ensure the process is running smoothlyProvide administrative support, including creating/maintaining files, preparing correspondence, and coordinating conflicts and background checks for prospective hiresMaintain and update candidate information in Applicant Tracking System (LawCruit and MyDentons)Assist with summer program coordination and student recruitment effortsAttend local student recruiting and summer program events as necessarySupport other firmwide legal recruitment initiatives and projects as neededAdditional duties may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the positionExperience & QualificationsBachelor's degreeAt least one year of recruiting, human resources or professional development experience at a law firm required, with preference for legal recruiting experiencePrevious experience coordinating recruiting efforts or scheduling across multiple offices, time zones, and practice groupsAbility to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality work productStrong organizational, oral and written communication skillsInterest in collaborating with others and learning more about the legal recruiting industryAbility to occasionally work outside of the regular work schedule to meet department needsPossess a high degree of trustworthiness and discretion, due to the highly confidential nature of the legal recruiting processProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookExperience with an applicant tracking system is a plusNY Salary: $65k to $80k DOEDentons US LLP offers a competitive salary and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, profit sharing, short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, paid holidays and discretionary bonuses.Dentons US LLP is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
