Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a polished and professional Legal Secretary to join their Silicon Valley team. In this role, you will be providing direct support to one of the partners, and additional support, as needed. Exceptional Benefits...Career Growth...and Stability for the new year!

Responsibilities:

• Perform secretarial and administrative duties including preparing various legal documents such as briefs, motions, complaints, and general correspondence
• Manage and prioritize an exceptionally active calendar of appointments/events
• Take the initiative to ensure the partner is prepared for their day (high-priority tasks, scheduled meetings, travel, etc.)
• Serve as a “gatekeeper” ensuring the partner's schedule is strictly adhered to and is optimized for efficiency and productivity
• Arrange travel plans providing detailed itineraries, and agendas
• Analyze, compose, and prepare correspondence that is frequently confidential in nature requiring a keen attention to detail, discretion, and a thorough understanding of both the context and content
• Document management by copying, reviewing incoming mail or email, scanning, and e-filing documents, and consistently maintaining the partner's files (both physical and electronic files)
• Provide back-up support to other partners or team members as necessary, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of legal administrative experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Tech-savvy (Office 365 & Adobe applications)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive and forward-thinking
