Every five hours a Pennsylvanian is lost to gun violence because our legislators fail to enact life-saving legislation. As the Commonwealths leading gun violence prevention advocacy organization, CeaseFirePA is hiring an organizer to expand our grassroots network, deepen our coalitions and hold elected officials accountable in the Lehigh Valley to end this epidemic.
Most Pennsylvanians support life-saving gun safety laws, but too many elected officials continue to ignore demands for action. Our Lehigh Valley Organizer will help build the necessary power in the region to enact our and other critical policies.
As a vital member of CeaseFirePAs Organizing Team, the Organizer will:

LOCATION: Lehigh or Northampton Counties or Pocono Area **Must have own car and be willing to drive.
COMPENSATION: $40,000-$45,000 (or hourly equivalent) based on experience. As a full-time position, the organizer is eligible for our excellent benefits package including full-covered health care, paid time off, and 401(k).
