As an Assistant Group Leader at CKP, you can gain experience in a fun and enriching environment. This part-time position is ideal for any professional who is interested in developing classroom, youth development or mentoring skills. An ideal candidate will believe in the overall mission of TCG and serve as a leader to young students. Assistant Group Leaders must be available to work during regularly scheduled school vacations and in summer.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
* Provide a positive, safe, fun, and memorable quality experience to all children and families involved in TCGs afterschool and summer programs;
* Provide a physically and emotionally safe and fun environment for children to thrive;
* Encourage children to participate in all activities and realize their full potential;
* Serve as a positive role model and mentor to children enrolled;
* Assist in maintaining and updating children's health, safety and emergency records;
* Maintain an attitude of flexibility and assist the Site Coordinator/Manager of Operations in immediate and necessary tasks;
* Participate in staff meetings, parent meetings, workshops and on-going trainings;
* Complete all required EEC certifications; and
* All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 16 years old.
* Must possess the qualifications required for their positions in accordance with EEC Regulations.
* Must complete CORI, SORI and fingerprint scan in accordance with regulations set forth by the Department of Early Education and Care prior to employment
* Creative and fun personality to implement curriculum and activities
* Evidence of physical examination within one year prior to employment;
* Evidence of immunizations against Measles, Mumps and Rubella; and
* Maintain current infant/child CPR and First Aid Certification.
