Position Details: --- Title: Level 2-3 Assembler --- Location: Pinellas Park, FL --- Compensation: $18.39-$22.97 (annual merit based raise as well as annual automatic raise of $.60/hr) --- Benefits: Medical, Dental 401k, PTO Position Description: --- Performs a variety of operations to manufacture, assemble and/or refurbish various aircraft parts and structures. --- Assemblies can require controlled tooling as well as build to print. Tasks include aligning parts on jigs using both templates and fixtures. --- Must be able to drill close tolerance holes. Performs part-fitting operations such as minor filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, drilling, reaming, riveting, countersinking, and cold working. --- Measures parts with a variety of methods to verify dimensions. May modify incomplete and complete assemblies to incorporate changes and perform repairs. --- Works from blueprint diagrams, drawings, specifications, and shop orders. --- Monitors and verifies quality and develops corrective action. --- Performs other duties as assigned. Preforms corrosion inspection and repair per engineering requirements. Requirements: (Level 2) --- Must have experience with use of hand tools (i.e. torque wrench, drills and inspection tools, riveting tools, and various other hand tools). --- Ability to read and interpret assembly Drawings or Instructions. --- Focus on cost, quality, schedule and safety --- Aircraft Assembly experience --- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (or equivalent) (Level 3) --- 1 - 2 years of sheet metal assembly/aircraft sheet metal structure experience is required --- Must be able to use hand tools (drills, torque wrench and inspections tools) --- Basic Computer Skills --- Focus on cost, quality, schedule and safety --- Aircraft Assembly experience
