Job Description:

Are you looking to take the next step in your IT career? Look no further than Custom Computer Specialists. We have a Level 2 NOC technician position open that offers a wide range of exposure to our clients and the systems that they use! Come join our team!

This position is based in our Hauppauge office from Monday thru Friday from 8am-5pm. Access to a vehicle on a daily basis is required.

This position does have an additional shift attached, overtime will be paid.

This position pays between $50,000 - $55,000 annually. Pay will be based on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle escalation growth from Level 1 NOC support staff
  • Manage and maintain VMWare infrastructure and Windows Server operating systems
  • Investigating client network outages
  • Support Active Directory environments
  • Troubleshoot persistent Microsoft Office 365 issues
  • Perform any other job duties assigned to you

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Helpdesk environment
  • Knowledge of Windows OS
  • 2-3 year of Active Directory experience
  • Strong knowledge of servers and networks
  • Ability to document protocol and procedures
  • Excellent communication, customer service, time management, and organizational skills
  • Strong Knowledge of internetworking concepts; TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
