Job Description:
Typical Responsibilities: Our Network/Server Service Technicians assist our clients with day-to-day issues which means:
  • Onsite and remote workstation and network management for a variety of clients, across a range of industries.
  • Troubleshoot backup issues, implement security compliance standards, and deploy server application upgrades
  • Maintain and enhance proactive maintenance systems
  • Troubleshoot and maintain Windows Server Active Directory environments
  • Work with to provide mentoring and escalated support to Service Desk Technicians
  • Intermediate Voice over IP support.
  • Assist with new project implementations
We work as a unified team, so in addition to supporting client's needs, you'll also be helping and mentoring your colleagues and they'll be helping and mentoring you! Our service technicians are expected to work as a team to develop best practices, test new technology, and document standard procedures for common types of service requests. Required Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude: Our clients call us when they're at their worst, and your colleagues may be reaching out to you for help when they're under pressure.
  • Ability to change tasks rapidly: As a service business, we expect the unexpected to disrupt our plans
  • Ability to stay organized and follow through to completion, with a high level of accuracy
  • A willingness and ability to learn new applications and skills
Required Technical Experience: (See internal technical competency list)
  • 2-4+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows environments to include Hyper-V, Setup OS, virtual switches, RAID setup and configuration
  • 1-2+ years of basic network experience, including setting up basic firewalls or switches
  • Office 365 and/or Azure experience a plus
Required Certifications:
  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Network+ (or obtain within 120 days of hire)
Compensation: $62,000 Base Salary + Certification Pay & BonusesBenefits:
