Resolve user incident tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking (VPN / LAN)
Perform Break / Fix repair, IMACs for supported equipment including e.g. PCs, monitors, peripherals, printers, mobile devices
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems for device / laptop issues including mobile devices
Orient users to new equipment features
Recommend solutions to Service Desk for Shift-Left opportunities
Manage escalations from Level 1 and further escalate unresolved issues to the next level of IT support personnel
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Deskside support
Minimum 7+ years of experience in Information Technology
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or relevant field
CompTIA A+ certification
Microsoft certifications preferred
Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar field
Hands-on experience with Windows / MAC OS environments
Good knowledge of PC imaging
Good knowledge of and / or experience with MS InTune
Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
Support multifunction and complex printers
Support desktop grad UPS and servers (single processors) with level 1 analysis
Strong English written and verbal communication skills
High level of professionalism
Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills
Documents resolution knowledge for Service Desk
Experience with anti-spyware and anti-virus software
Knowledge of wireless networking
Ability to provide smart hands support under direction of a Level 3 and ability to provide work direction to and smart hands support to Level 1 technicians
Ability to train end users
Identifies opportunities for process / continuous improvement
