Summary
Any and all general grounds maintenance duties as listed in the Essential Duties and Responsibilities section below as well as any and all jobs designated as such by the Grounds Supervisor.
Location
Levelland Campus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.
* Keep and maintain the college farm grounds.
* Maintain farm equipment.
* Maintain farm buildings.
* Clean animal pens.
* Safely operate various types of equipment. (tractors, trucks, loaders, mowers and small equipment.)
* Plant cover crops on campus farm areas.
* Plant and Prune Trees, Shrubs.
* Build forms and pour concrete.
* Lay brick; Dig holes and ditches; Install temporary fences.
* Install underground pipe and aid Irrigation Technicians with repair work.
* Install Christmas Lights.
* Report for work at 7:00 AM on icy or snowy days for sidewalk cleanup.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities except assigned by Grounds Supervisor.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or General Education Degree is preferred.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to Add, Subtract. Multiply and Divide.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.
Licenses
Valid Texas motor vehicle operator's license and insurability.

Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
Valid Texas Drivers License
2 years farm experience with farm equipment
